My youth was simply uneducated, and I abandoned my roots. I essentially stated that I am from Indonesia, that I had no knowledge of my historical family or ancestry, and that I was perfectly accustomed to becoming a Canadian. For many years, I noted that my parents had to acquire a variety of Indonesian, Chinese, and other cuisines, as well as the majority of Chinese medicine. Today, I had dinner and noticed my father viewing YouTube videos on China's streets. I was like, "I don't know why he watched," so I took advantage of the chance to ask my mother, and I was shocked and in tears when she told me everything. I'm actually Chinese Hakka. I'm devastated because I only found out after 21 years. So to the point, for a long time ago that Indonesian government just forced Chinese to change their names into Indoesnian names, that's why my family heritage is still unknown so I need to reseach it more. I still support this restaurant all the time and I am impressed that they provide many vegetarian foods.
